Christmas Mulled Blueberry Gin
It is hard to find something comparable to a classic G&T, but with the run-up to Christmas, this is the perfect alternative with a hot cocktail to sip your way through the colder months.
This is a perfect Christmas drink to have with friends and family, with a nice mince pie or sausage roll.
You will need:
- 1 litre of cloudy Apple juice
- 2 Cinnamons ticks
- 1 vanilla pod (cut down the middle)
- 1tsp of ground cloves
- 2 star anise
- a thumb-sized piece of root ginger cut into slices.
Gently warm the apple juice with the spices and let the flavour infuse for at least 30 minutes (it makes the house smell Christmasy too!)
Once it’s hot ladle into cups and then add a measure of Penhros Blueberry Liqueur and sit back, relax and enjoy!
