The Perfect 'Summer Serve' for Wimbledon
At Penrhos Spirits, we’re all about capturing the taste of summer in a glass and what better way to celebrate the season than with Wimbledon, strawberries and a fresh, floral cocktail?
We’re thrilled to create this delicious cocktail with Tyler Aromatherapy to launch their limited-edition ‘Summer Serve’ box, a joyful celebration of sunshine, summer and self-care.
To mark the occasion, we welcomed Ellie, the founder of Tyler Aromatherapy, to Penrhos. Together, we got mixing and created a stunning summer drink that blends the flavours of nature with a touch of luxury. It’s fruity, zesty, floral and entirely delicious.
And the star ingredient? Our Penrhos Wonky Strawberry Gin, made from real wonky strawberries that didn’t make it to supermarket shelves but still taste so delicious in your glass.
Summer Serve Cocktail
Ingredients
50ml Penrhos Wonky Raspberry Gin
2 tsp of Lemon Curd
1 fresh Lemon
25ml Elderflower Presse
25ml Sugar Syrup
6–7 fresh mint leaves
Method
1. Gently muddle or mix all ingredients together in a cocktail shaker
2. Add the ice and shake well until chilled and fully combined.
3.Pour into your favourite glass, garnish mint and enjoy the flavours of summer.
